Staff Bios
Teresa L. Bowers
As the office manager and IT coordinator, Teresa has been with Attorney Knapp since the law office opened for business. Teresa and her husband, Ricky Bowers, live in Fairfax and have one son, Miki, and four daughters, Carson, Cera, April Lauren and Amber, who is married to Jesse Asmus and they have a daughter, Sydney and another baby on the way. Teresa is very active in her church. She has been the chorister, a Savannah area regional youth advisor, a local director of children’s programs, directed five multi-congregational girls camps, and is active in the women’s Relief Society. She also made time to home school all five children. Teresa serves as advisor to the Scout Adventure Crew #392 and is committee member of the Barnwell Troop. She is recipient of the Wood Badge Award for her achievement in leadership and dedication to serving young people.
Dana B. Turner
Dana, Attorney Knapp’s paralegal, is a Midlands Tech graduate where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and finished in the top of her class. She is a member of the Palmetto Paralegal Association and focuses her work in estate planning and probate administration. She has worked for nine years in law offices and been with the Knapp Law Firm for several years. A lifelong Barnwell County resident, Dana and her husband, MSG, Eric Turner, active Army Guard reserve and live in the Williston area. They enjoy spending time with their daughters Emerson and Taeya, and son Tristan.
Linda Kennedy
Linda Kennedy, Legal Assistant for Social Security, has been a CNA working at the Barnwell County Hospital and local nursing homes, is a pharmacy tech and has personal experience in dealing with SC Vocational Rehabilitation and the SSA disability process. Linda is married to Eldon and they have two sons, Eldon Jr. and Lyndon and three Chihuahuas: Frodie, Tiny & Gracie.
